Default Allure vinyl flooring

I just purchased a thousand square feet of allure flooring from Home Depot and was searching for some installation tips when I stumbled onto this site. Now, I am a little nervous about it when I wasn't before. I didn't realize the edges would lift. How do I roll it? With what? How important is this step? And what do the carpet installers do where this meets it? They are coming to measure tomorrow.

Default allure continued

So far so good. We've only started the project though, we'll get to the meat of it today. We live in Texas so I'm not as concerned as I was about the edges curling. It's always hot here - supposed to be 80 today and I suppose that has something to do with the adhesive sticking. I will post later tonight with an update...

I am wondering about area rugs & Allure. We have installed it in our living room, dining room, kitchen, hall & bath & we found it easy to install & we love it. However, I would like to put an area rug in the living room & was wondering about the instructions about the non slip backing? Has anyone put down an area rug? We have all cotton in the bath & kitchen right now. I would also like to purchase a runner for in front of my french doors leading outside to a deck....Just hope someone can advise me. Thanks Carroll
