Allure ultra waterproof floor

I have an large area that needs some kind of waterproof floor, regular laminates lift- thinking about Allure high traffic floor but saw some reviews that made me very scared- http://ottoblotto.blogspot.com/2009/...ng-stinks.html - I have small child in the home & can't use anything that has a potential for health risk!! Does anyone know if his is true? Is it just the "glue strip" floors or all Allure flooring?? What are my options? Tile is such a huge expensive job, are there any other brands that make waterproof laminate that done can suggest? I am very concerned about now using this brand!

There have been many problems. Type "Allure" in the search box.

For any type flooring to work your going to have to figure out why there's moisture in that area.

What's there for a subfloor?
Crawl space, slab ECT.?

The reason I want waterproof is not because of moisture problem, it is because I have a built in pool right off the area that I want to cover, and kids / adults running in an out of house have ruined laminate floor & rugs are not an option- was considering tile floor but $$ and I like to look of wood, although there are wood look tiles they are $$ and very involved process- this would be much easier and if works would solve all problems.

My concern is issues I've read about what I think might be the floor w/glue strip.

This floor would go over a slab.
