Allure Flooring

I want to replace about 1000 sq ft of carpet in walk out basement. Looking at vinyl as I'm afraid to use wood or wood laminate below grade, on concrete. I have no moisture problems with carpet but with concrete, I assume mold is possible. Are moisture inhibitors pretty reliable in this situation? I like the wood plank look but the planks are only 2mm think. I have a concern that, when I pull up the carpet (glued down) the surface will have rough spots from glue residue and also some pressure cracks in the concrete. Assuming there has been some settling over 25 years, has anyone installed this over an old concrete floor? Do the pressure cracks show though? Should I consider the commercial flooring (thinker stuff) even though that doesn't come in wood grain pattern? Also, can this stuff be applied to stairs? What do you put on the edge of the tread? Is there any product besided those metal corner bead strips?
