Allure flooring

I had Allure flooring, floating laminate, put in my kitchen. I hired the work done by a professional, but within a few months it started showing substantial separations where the tiles used to meet. I worked with the company and did get a refund for the tile, but not the labor. Now I need new flooring and since my floor has a substantial slope, that seems to be the reason for the separation of the Allure, and think my only choices are sheet vinyl flooring or kitchen carpeting. Does anyone have any suggestions for new flooring?

Of those two choices....sheet vinyl. Easier to keep clean and spills can be mopped up.

Allure

I second that.....Sheet vinyl would be so much better. No matter what kind of carpet you may think of using, the kitchen and/or bathroom is no place for carpet, it will be gross and smell even more gross before you know it.
