Advice needed on installation of BELLAWOOD 5/16" x 2-1/4" Select Brazilian Walnut

I am looking for any advice or insight on this project. I am a complete newb, first time homeowner...

I am installing BELLAWOOD 5/16" x 2-1/4" Select Brazilian Walnut Prefinished Select LINK: on this subfloor:

It's tough to tell, but the subfloor is fairly even and flat. I plan on laying 1/4" birch underlayment on top of the subfloor.

I plan on using Bostik's Best Adhesive. Do I need to use staples/nails as well? Or will the glue suffice?

Bellawood doesn't have a good reputation among installers.

The ads in my post are there without my permission. I do not endorse any of the products.

yep bella seems to be cheap stuff , I would scrape the floor <<< Unless it's just impossible to clean , Then nail it down , It looks like the residue of glue down carpet pad , Some time that can be hard to remove , You can sharpen the floor scraper on one side only , Then lay it on the side that doesn;t dig , Then use sort of a 45% angle scrape it the direction of the grain , This will allow sort of a cutting scrape motion ,
