Advice on how to finish door frame/floor gap?
We recently had wood floors pulled out of our basement, and the slab underneath polished. The result is that there is now a gap between the floor and the walls around the room. I saved the quarter rounds and will reinstall them where I can. There weren't quarter rounds around the door frames however (see photo attached), so there is still a big space.
Can anyone give me advice on how to finish these gaps? Three short pieces of new quarter rounds? It seems that this would look clunky, so I'm wondering if there is something more creative.
I think cutting some extenders for the jamb and trim and sanding them to shape will look best--
