Adhesive tongue and groove flooring

What brand of adhesive should I use on engineered flooring; I want a "floating floor" as opposed to gluing the floor to the subfloor. The flooring is not an interlocked floor but has tongue and grooves.

Adhesive tongue and groove flooring

Unless the manufacturer says that your floor is made to float I would not suggest doing this. If it is made to be floated by glueing the tounge to the groove you can use Tite bond 2. It is a good wood glue that would work well for this installation. Make sure and keep a damp sponge handy to glean the access glue.
