Additional sub flooring for tile

I am trying to tile my kitchen floor. After removing the old laminate I was looking to place another sub floor over the existing for better bondage. What is the thinnest recommend sub floor to add to the existing sub before placing down Ditra?

"Better bondage"?

Let's start with you telling us what your subfloor is made of now and how thick is that subfloor? What is the material? How thick is the material?

What is the size of your floor joists and what is their spacing?
How big are the floor joists and how far apart are they spaced?

What is the "unsupported" span of those floor joists.
The "unsupported span" is the distance the joists free-span without sitting on a ledge or beam.

The floor is wood structured.

As for the sub floor, the 1st layer is "Toung & Groove" 2" thick.
The 2ed layer is 3/4"plywood, which had a layer of laminate on it.

The floor joists are 2" wide with 14" spacing in between each.

DITRA doesn't require anything else. DITRA is available in thicknesses of 1/8" and 5/16"...your choice.
