3/4" hardwood install


Two questions: 1) We are putting down the felt paper today. Do we need to go up the walls a couple inches on the interior walls? I know we need to on the walls to the exterior, just wondering about the walls that divide the rooms. 2) Around the fireplace hearth. I heard that it is a good idea to glue the strips down around the hearth due to gaps over time caused by the temp. changes in that area. Any need in doing this?
