Tub Surround

This one was a quickie - done over a long weekend when our daughter & her family were gone for a few days.

Their house is a 1925 bungalow. Starter home. Definitely a fixer-upper.

Because the window was completely rotted away, I removed everything down to the lath, and built up from there.

We used the "sheets" of 2x4 subway tile, from HomeDepot. Definitely a lot of jimmying around with those little buggers.

It wasn't a big project - and certainly nothing compared to what a lot of you are doing - but little by little their house is becoming a very nice home.
