Refinished my horrible looking deck

Posted this in the wrong section:

Hello everyone. This is my first project that motivated me to try different DIY home improvement projects. It took me 3 weeks because I had to work with the sun and I was learning as I was doing. Please share any comments/critiques/suggestions, etc on anything about it. Thanks in advance!

Cool lighting work.

Looked like a labor of love with all the sanding and finish work.

Thanks, it really was. I have never done anything like this before, but I want to increase the value of my home so I had to start somewhere. The lights were a last minute add on. I watched numerous videos on youtube, lifehacker, and reddit on how to refinish decks. I only wished I completed this project last spring, instead of at the start of winter

Wow! Great attention to detail and it shows in the work. For just learning as you go it looks really professional. The lighting was a nice touch also.

That looks amazing. Absolutely love your lighting, makes a big difference. You did a great job and had you not said anything, I would have thought you hired a professional.
