Recycling Folding Closet Doors and Old Flooring.

Here's a laundry hamper I made using old wooden closet doors, (don't you hate those things on closets?) and some scavenged flooring for the lid.
The knob on the side is mounted and is on a spring to keep the front door closed.
The bottom is 3 scavenged 2"x6"s with leftover slats glued down for a floor. some used hinges and screws, and new casters left over from some unit that never needed them, and all done!
ok, ok... I DID use one can of lacquer to spray the outside and lid.....
whattaya gonna do?

Nice use of the material which would've landed in a dump.
I'll remember this. I've used the solid bi-fold doors for shelving before.
