My farewell performance

I lost my laptop today. It may be a few days before I can return unless I can rig up some other way.

My farewell performance

I've seen it 5 or 6 times and didn't notice the Indian climbing off the horse. Neat trick!

My farewell performance

YAY! (sort of) I'm on an old desktop that I actually managed to get running for the net. At least I won't go mad.

My farewell performance

Well for cryin out loud, I didn't notice that the Indian fell off his horse. I had to go back and watch that again. Come to think of it I will probably go watch it again.
How in the world did you lose your lap top, you didn't board it up behind some sheet rock did you? I know a fellow just down the road in Whitwell who is a computer guru, if you need some help. (sorry, couldn't help myself)

My farewell performance

I got up, turned it on, and no HDD. @!#!#@!#@!
Even with a new hdd I don't think I can get it going again because the dvd drive has been dead for years. Without it I can't reinstall OS on new HDD. Oh well... this too shall pass.

The system, monitor size and not having plugins needed etc.. is truly weird. I'd grown so used to the way I had it.....

No setting in bios to boot to usb. I have to be 100% sure it'd work before spending the $$$ we can't afford. In the meantime, I can use this moose.

So am I Jim, so am I. Believe it or not, I'll only get older too....

Perhaps that's why I won't be trying to perform any more card tricks....
