The last light

I had to do something in the back bedroom's walk-in closet to replace the bare bulb I had temporarily installed just to see what I was doing. I found these two twin 8w skinny florescent bulb fixtures out in the shed and thought... hmmmm. Some scraps of walnut, some screws, a little spray varnish and viola! A 4 bulb 32w ceiling fixture I'm sure will pass my electric inspection this week!
It's plenty bright enough for that closet too! Brighter than the single 60w I had in there!

Nice job!! It's kind of a shame to hide it in a closet.

Nice job Mouse
Our local building codes mandate florescent light fixtures in closets.

Light bulbs and glass shades were getting snapped off from people hauling stuff out of the top shelves.

May have been a heat issue also with bare bulbs.

Good for you.....they look great and now you're up to code ....in our town

You mean to tell us you've been a member here for 2+ years and this is your first post?
I feel honored!
....Or are you saying it's taken you that long to figure out HOW to post here, in which case I think we truly need to work on our 'join up' instructions!
