Basement Reno ... (Work in Progess)

I wish I had better pictures (these are from my cell phone).

also - I wish I had taken more pictures from before / when I started ... these are basically close to the finish. ;( Ohh well ... maybe next time.

just wanted to post this as a thank you to everyone on the site who's helped me out and answered all my questions. This is definitely one of the nicest forums on the net (IMHO) with plenty of helpful and knowledgeable people.

this is my 3rd basement, and I'm still learning! hopefully I'll be able to help some others out!

some details ...

approx 700 sqft.

1. Great room (not in pics yet)
- 13 x 32ft (24 pot lights on 3 switches, 3 breakers)
- 60oz carpet with 10mm under pad to be installed.
- wired for 7.1 surround sound (6 in wall speaker locations)
- electrical plug in ceiling (for projector, along with pre-wired VGA, component, & HDMI)
- 3x Cat5e network connections.

2. 3 piece bath (not in pics yet)
- broken joint tile
- wainscoting

3. bedroom / office
- 12 x 16ft (8 pot lights on 1 switch, 1 breaker - arc fault)
- plugs on separate breaker, also arc fault protected
- 2x Cat5e network connections.

4. hallways, water softener room, storage, etc.

Everything looks great!

Tile Work looks good too. Let me guess, no tile cutting tool yet?

I like your choice of lighting, what did you use?

Thanks for posting the nice pics for us.
