ahaha...yeah, after 3 years the only thing "finished" is something so menial...but nice to finally have.
Some shelves!! They're quite hodge-podge. I has a bunch of different pieces from those cheapy "assemble it yourself" bits of furniture stacked up in a closet ... and all my books have been in boxes and stacks all over for the last year so I took a bunch of the different pressboard lengths, painted them (all sides except the front - which I left exposed so there's a color contrast for a design) and I bought some brackets, painted the bracket covers and tada...two weeks after I started here it is. (the covers for the brackets on the top left are missing ... they're painted and around the house somewhere, so nothing tragic happened, I've just misplaced them.)
This is, of course, just temporary ... but I can't stand living among piles of stuff, anymore, and so this is a quick effort to clean up the clutter with limited time and room. When I get the floors/walls finished I'll get some real nice wood shelves to place here ... but that might be far off.
