will not start
top load kenmoore washer model 110.24292300 fills up with water but will not start on any cycle, pls help.

My first guess would be the the lid swich, which you can check with a continuity tester. Just be sure to unplg it before doing anything.

lid switch bad, Whirlpool part # 3949238 about $36.00
