why don't new water heaters last?

My old water heater (in my guest house) is 33 years old and still fine. The one in the main house is 13 years old and done! New warranties are for 6 - 12 years max. What's going on?

You are on borrowed time! Boom, plop and splash. Can you say catastrophic failure and lots of water damage?

If I was in the guest house I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. LOL.
Replace before it's too late.

Built-in obsolescence.

Old appliances were built to last; new appliances are built to fail.
