Whirlpool Washer Inlet Valve Leak

NoneGiven Newbie   Join Date: Sep 2012 Posts: 1	Whirlpool Washer Inlet Valve Leak The inlet valve on my washer (LSR8233EQ0) is leaking. A local plumbing shop gave me a free replacement part; however, it is just a tad different than the original. He gave me http://www.partselect.com/PS2021369-...Thermistor.htm And this is the original part http://www.partselect.com/PS334646-W...ng-Bracket.htm It looks like the only difference is the temperature sensor. Any reason I can't just use the free one?
