whirlpool side by side not making ice
 

after it was moved the ice quit making but water is still there

There is an arm in the ice maker. Check to see if it's in the correct(down) position.
If it is, check the trouble shooting section in the owner's manual.

I have a whirlpool gold side by side about two years old and it started erratically making ice after being turned off for vacation. Does your have the electronic controls on each side just inside the freezer door?
