Hi,

- "the freezer door on my side by side was left slightly open for about 6 hours it formed ice pellets inside the freezer. my ice maker will work but it won't dispense through the door. ( there is a click but the auger isn't turning) I tried to thaw it out with a hair dryer with no success.

This does not bode well for a, "verified expert". Try calling in someone who knows what he's doing.
