whirlpool refrigerator water problem

when you push the water dispenser pad it makes the water come out of the water tube for the icemaker in the freezer. What is the problem? This is a whirlpool side by side.

Never fiddled with those but I am assuming u are getting NO water at all thru the water dispenser ?............. just out the ice make....right ?

Was this recently connected?
Has it ever worked properly before?
Is this a new fridge ?

I can only see it being 1 of 2 things.....

#1 PLUGGED hose or some type of blockage leading to water dispenser outlet.

#2 Hoses NOT connected properly during install.

good luck

fill us in
