Whirlpool Ice Maker Heater Dead

Model GS5SHAXNL. Water supply is fine, ice maker fills and freezes. Ejector arms attempt to eject ice but cannot eject because the heater does not activate. Tested the heater with ohm meter, about 70 ohms, another web site said it should be 60-90 ohms so heater appears ok. Thermostat measures 0 ohms when cold and about 4500 ohms warm...I believe it should be infinity when warm? Bad thermostat? Any other thoughts?

Thank you!
