whirlpool dw GU2700XTSQ1 not cleaning well


Hi, our WP Gold QP1V is about 24 months in use, increasingly the dishes are not coming out clean. Same dw soap, have tried different settings ie Pots & Pans, PowerScour - no change - any diy suggestions are appreciated - Thks

food left on dish's,plates etc seem greasy??.. if you haven't been scraping food from dish's it's probably blocked up[need service].--DIY=make sure top rack spray arm is going into port in back, other port closed, you could try Lemi-Shine' through a cycle....

I don't care how good they say those things are at removing food. If the food isn't scraped off before they go in it accumulates in the drain and gums it up. I run it empty with powdered lemonade, could even be crystal light, to clean the buildup in the tubes.
