Whirlpool Duet

I have a Whirlpool Duet washer.Recently with the frigid temps the hoses froze. The hose connector assembly thingamajiggydealythingy froze and cracked.I replaced this part with a new one.Since replacing the part the washer is not working.Working I mean the lights on the soil setting side are not on and the power button when pressed will not function. My question is what could make this happen? How can it be fixed? And is there a sequence of a possible reset that I should use since I replaced the part? Like resetting the computer or something?Any help would be appreciated.

I pushed and held in the control/lock button for 3 seconds then held the power for 3 seconds and BOOM.It works,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I know that you didn't really help but due to the escapade I waltzed on I would have not went in and tried those sequences.Maybe the 3 second sequence was a fluke but now the wife can find something else to complain about. Thanks hardwareman. And again I apologize.
