Whirlpool Dishwasher

We have a frontloader dishwasher that has the "press lock" instead of a latch lock. It will cycle through part or maybe halfway and stop, since the door moves off of the switch. My wife or I will find partially washed dishes and have to shut the door again. Once re-closed, washing resumes.

What's the fix for this? (I haven't gotten to this one yet with all the other "fix-its" in the house".)

Can you supply the model of your dishwasher?

It is likely that the latch has to be adjusted.

Whirlpool Dishwasher

Aw geeze - ya know, I must walk right by it 100 times a day. Send a boot-to-the-butt from The Great White North next time I do! Hopefully, the wife won't look at me funny when she sees "MODEL" written on my hand...

(Duh!)

Model #DU810CWDB4 (a bit faded). Looks to me like 2 torx screws and maybe a little prying to get to the inner workings of the latch. Perhaps the appliance parts store I just saw today down the street has what I need.
