Or, though I have posted this before?

As for your other question? Quartz is a crystal that when thin filmed on to something like a broiler element can both hold and distribute heat evenly.

In your situation, it was but a short lived marketing gimmick to suggest anything cooked by MIKE could be turned from grey looking rubber chicken to something looking marginally edible.

Some restaurants, with executive chefs that do not cop an attitude when someone orders a peace of meat, chicken or fish killed another time will speed the line along and stick the food in a Salamander. Many of the heating elements in them have a thin film layer of quartz.

By the way. Some say my kitchen is somewhat overboard but one thing it will never have is a microwave. Or a woman in it. Actually one was able to market shop and cook with me. She had too polished kitchen knife skills.

I can stir fry or even steam you something in a fraction of the time it takes to heat up a frozen microwave meal. I can just sprinkle salt or real sugar.

Are you sure you need a microwave with whatever features?

Agreed. Convection cooking is great in concept and my tiny toaster oven with great capability gets beat up on a daily basis.

The problem and limitation with convection cooking as we are still decided ovens of any kind should have square corners.

Those little countertop ovens as seen on TV have almost got convection wih

Thanks for the advice guys. I couldnt get anywhere with manualslib as they dont list an IGNIS even looking under the 'I' section.
I have put a question on Fixya so we will see what happens....Angulo
