Washing maching not filling with water

i have a maytag lat5005aaw - it's old! But it worked like a champ until today. i put clothes in, turned it on, water was filling. walked away and came back 10minutes later and no water in the tub. no buzzing noise. i checked to make sure valves are on to the water. power and breaker is okay. the tub spins, so it's getting power. the hoses aren't kinked. could the Water Inlet Valvue need replaced.

Do you have a meter and know how to use it?
Before changing it I'd check to see if there's power going to the valves first.
