washing machine problems

I have a maytag neptune front loader washing machine and when it is on the spin cycle it shakes like it has an unbalanced load in it. I put it in the spin cycle with no clothes in it and it does the same thing. Does anyone know what could be causing this? thanks

Possibly one of the roller for the drum is bad.

Check the owners/install instructions for balancing just to make sure thats not the issue. Normally level the front with the two adjustable legs. Then pick up the back and drop it slightly a few times to auto level the back two legs.

might check maytag.com if you dont have the owners manual for it.

Be sure to check consumeraffairs.com then slelect maytag. Looks like there has been major issues and a recall on that model.

Several issues including defective circuit boards causing spin overspeed and drums cracking/losing bearings.

Good Luck
