wall heater


hello guys i have a new gas wall heater. i bought it and had a tech install it for me. problem is it shuts down and wont come back on with out a reset. if i take the cover off it works ok. i returned the first one and put in a second one with the same results. any ideas on this. thanks dave

lack of airflow causing overheating conditions? what is the nature of the reset in other words what causes it to trip

try posting in the hvac forums

the tech was thinking the same thing and extended the vent pipe higher, but it still kicked out. he says it is burning too hot. i will try in the hvac as you remomended. thanks dave
