wall furnace

how do you start a wall furnace?

Is this a rental, or do you own the place of residence that this unit is in? If it has not been lit since you have been living there, get a reputable HVAC guy to look over the unit to make sure that it will work. Wall heaters, or Wall furnaces are the most inefficient and unsafe appliances that where invented. You might as well turn on the oven and let it run 24x7.

I thought about commenting on this thread yesterday when I first read it, but wasn't sure how to put into words how I felt about these appliances.

Thank you gregzoll for saying what I should have.

Please, if this is a NG or propane fired heater, at least have someone check the unit to make sure it is safe and operating correctly before trying to start it. CO poisoning is a major concern with these units.
