Timer Won't Stop

Spoke to Soon

I just thought i had it fixed. As I said in the original post

http://www.diychatroom.com/f47/kenmo...p-fuse-176333/

"the dial does not stop at the end of the cycle it continues to turn, seems like until it gets back to straight up at the top."

We usually run it in the timed section. An example of the problem would be if you had started the dryer at 50 minutes and opened the door at 20 and removed the clothes then shut the door without restarting the dryer. The heater coil continues to stay hot while the door is open or closed until the timer reaches zero. Then the timer continues to click all the way back around to just before the timed section starts.

Does the timer need to be replaced or is there something causing the timer to do this?

Again I appreciate any help

Sounds like I need a timer. Is there a place I could buy one from that would let me return it if it doesn't fix the problem like it states in this post?
