my kenmore side by side model # 253.53612300 recently stopped making ice. While trouble shooting the problem i found the (cup) at the rear of the ice maker, where the water tube goes into the ice maker, frozen over. water was spilling over the top a the iced over cup and dropping into the freezer compartment. I defrosted the cup with a hair dryer and it made ice for the rest of the day, but never enough to stop the ice maker from continuing to make ice, it froze over again. Is this a symptom of a leak by on the water valve. This ice maker has be awesome, always full enough to stop the ice maker until ice is emitted into my glass through the door.
