Start relay problem?
 

I have an Admiral ASD2514ARW (series 11) refrigerator that stopped working after the freezer door was left open all night (Thanks to my lovely bride... lol). I believe the problem is the start relay or the overload, but I cannot get the terminal cover off. I am afraid of pulling/prying too hard and risking bending one of the connectors on the compressor. Is their a trick to getting it off? The terminal cover part number is 61002138 and pictures are attached.

Also, should I replace both the start relay and the overload?

insert flat blade screwdriver under that bottom tab and pop it off.

what makes you think it is the realy/overload?

The screwdriver worked. The compressor was clicking on and off. The relay is off of the compressor and it rattles. Cam I check it with a multimeter?

if the relay is clicking and compressor not starting then it is probably bad, just buy a new one and try it.
