skid plates -- big deal?

I purchased a Miele oven, the skid plates are missing (this was a floor model). Is this a big deal or would you say they are easily worked around? Contractors are doing the work; the company that sold me the oven is 2.5 hours away; I'd prefer to jig up a replacement if possible.

You can contact the company and get a parts list off the internet so you can see what the part looks like or you can find a service center and buy the parts.
