Rusted dishwasher rack

The top rack on our dishwasher is slightly rusted. Since were buying a new one I'm trying to sell this one. Is there any safe way to make it look better other than replacing the rack itself?

Rusted dishwasher rack

Good luck trying to sell a used one, not much of a market for it.
Best to buy a new one but by the time you pay for it and the shipping may not be worth it.

Rusted dishwasher rack

they do make a special rack/repair coating for the racks. Its kind of pricey though.

Rusted dishwasher rack

I agree- not worth the hassle/project time/effort/expense. Rust will only come back.
