Hello!
We're going to be replacing our kitchen vent hood. Right now it's an under-cabinet hood where the vent runs up through the cabinets. We're going to be taking out the cabinets and having a stand-alone "chimney" style one, but I'm not sure about measurements.
The metal vent that runs through the cabinets is 10"x4.5" and then it goes up into the bulkhead that hangs down a foot from the ceiling. I'm not sure what dimensions it is up there, but does a new vent hood need to match 10x4.5 exactly?

This shows one that is 14"x10.2". Will that connect into the vent?
