Steam or hot water?
How is it plumbed?
One radiator to the next, or "diverter" fittings
My setup has the "diverter" fittings (not sure what they are called)
Basically some of the water goes to the radiator, rest goes on via the main pipe

Why do you want to remove it? In the way?
This will make the bedroom cold
I have always just shut off the radiator
