We have a KitchenAid top-mount refrigerator that we bought back in 1998. model # KTRP19KGAL00
We have always had trouble with veggies freezing in the crisper drawers, no matter what settings we set.
Now we started having problems with stuff freezing in the back of the refrigerator section. So, I emptied the freezer and defrosted all the ice build up. then started trying to fool around with the adjustments to see if i could make the two sections function the way they should, but even on the "recommended settings" we still have freezing in the back of the refrigerator and crisper drawers.
The settings are on the roof of the refrig section and I'm not sure if it is broken and can't be set appropiately any more.
The frig looks great, but this problem is making us frustrated.
My wife wants to buy a new one.
any suggestions on which way we should go??
