Quik Question about Washing Machine

The drain hose for the washing machine should be easily removable & adjustable right?

My sister is moving and we are having a hard time removing the drain hose. I'm guessing its stuck.
Home Depot installed it. Yikes i didnt mean to post in the painting section.

Quik Question about Washing Machine

The drain hose should fit loosely in the stand pipe.

If you're going to cut the hose, you'll need to either connect the new hose to the pump (and that might not be easy) or also cut the new hose and splice the cut end of the old hose to the new hose with a hose barb to hose barb fitting.
