problem with ice maker...

I have a 2 year old Frigidaire with a built in water dispenser and an in freezer ice maker(no ice dispenser on door). I shut my water off recently when i went on vacation. When I turned the water back on the ice maker quit making ice cubes. The water dispenser works fine. The splines that move the cubes into the ice bin rotate but no ice cubes are produced. The shut off bar that rests on the cubes is in the lower "on" position.

I have no clue here. Thanks in advance for any info

Did you shut off the ice maker as well ( raise the bar to the off position?)

If you left it on, the pump motor probably ran constantly trying to pull water into the cube tray and just burned out.

If it's still under warranty you might forget to mention the water turned off for a couple weeks part
