oven wont light


i have a Maytag Stove model # 31000paw when i turn on the oven the pilot light gets bigger but the oven wont light. Any ideas on what it might be Thanks

oven wont light


pilot assy. may need cleaning/ blown out. If its not that, then gas valve will need replacement.

It could be the Thermocouple if it has one . The little nut may need to be tighten? Call some one that may know about stoves about this.

if that is the case than the gas valve may be bad i belive that was mention in another post. Mite be time to call in a pro for that?
