non-ducted range vent filter on a ducted unit
I was wondering out of curiosity that besides the higher cost and more frequent need for replacement, is there any reason not to use a non-ducted (recirculating) range vent (mesh) filter on a ducted install? Just assuming the non-ducting filter would trap more grease than a ducting one. Or does it restrict too much airflow?
