My 2002 Kenmore Refrigerator will not cool down

During hurricane Irene we lost power for about 36 hours. When we emptied out and cleaned our freezer and refrigerator, the refrigerator will not cool (we can hear the compressor).

how long has it been? Is the freezer section cold?
