Moving a Fridge


Will laying a fridge on its side in the truck bed harm it ?

Not going to do it any good.
Let it sit for 24 hours up right before turning it on. There really is no excuse to transport it on it's side. The oil on the freon will leak into the top side of the compresser and may lock it up is started to soon.

Taking it to my cabin 200 miles away. ( By my self ) I'll try to get it up right. May have to take the tool box out of the truck bed. Thanks.

Make sure you tape the doors to stay closed.

I already broke a glass shelf and replaced it with plexiglass.
