Microwave next to gas pipe.

Hi
I've been doing up my kitchen and have moved my microwave into the kitchen cupboard.
I am just wondering if it is safe to have a microwave next to the gas outlet pipe feed that feeds the rest of the flat from the meter.

I can't see why there would be a problem but thought it safer to check.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Si
