Question

LG DISHWASHER ID this part please?

Have a LG dishwasher MODEL LDF6810ST/01. We had a water line leak( that was repaired)and everything had to be removed from the cabinets, dry wall, to tiles and the DW. upon placing the dishwasher back in its place and connecting the lines, there was a drip coming from this part. see attachment. the water is coming from the blue portion of part. is this the water inlet valve? if not, what is it? Thank you for any help...

I believe you are correct, that is your water inlet valve. Could be defective, if defective they cannot be repaired that I know of and must be replaced. First, being how you had the dw disconnected, check your hose clamp to the inlet valve, make sure it's secure/seated properly and not leaking to rule that out.

If no luck there, click on the link below picture, view the part replacement and part testing video's when you get there, maybe it will help you out a little better. Others will be along with more advice/suggestions. Thanks.
