I hace a Kitchen aid side by side ice maker just stopped so I cleaned the bottom of refig and replaced the water inlet valve because inlet tube was freezing still no ice so I replaced the control module and it started to make ice, over 24 hours it only made a half of bucket, whats wrong now????

Do you have a water filter on the refrigerator? If so does the water come out the front door in a good stream? Sounds like water restriction.

I don't know, but it sounds possible that it working correctly. How fast should a freezer make a bucket of ice? I seem to remember emptying mine and it wasn't full the next day.

I removed the filter at the bottm of refrig I have a direct line going in and yes there is water to the door

1/2 bucket in 24 hours would be pretty good, if you want it to make it faster turn the freezer temp to a lower setting.

After replacng the control module it made ice for a week then stopped again what can it be the Optics? the Heater? Help
