Knob for GE Washer

I end a replacement for GE Knob WEO1X10031:

Probably GE buys these knobs for $0.10 each, but the best price I can find for them is around 30.00 Qty 1.

Is the a source for "generic" knobs which will fit?

I first would look in your local yellow pages for appliance repair places. Most I've dealt with have boxes of knobs they have pulled off of old stuff that was being hauled to the dump.

looks like a common D style knob. Any residential or commercial kitchen repair place will have a knob that will fit that stem. They may not all be white, but I can pretty much guarantee you that they will usually have something that will fit.
