Kitchenaid dishwasher defective parts


Heres a photo of the frayed/busted rope from my dishwasher. This is a top of
the line one- and sheesh- rope breaks/frays, and plastic ends that rope is molded into also doesnt last for beans:

debated if its even worth getting new rope/with cheap plastic molded ends........

door is not heavy, but figured, no big deal. Just dont frop it on the shins!

[It's part of the door spring linkage]..other than cost who knows what they we're thinking. the replacement kit is better. replace it before that door hits someone or you take the hinges out and won't be able to latch the door-whole 'nother problem.
